Concordia Dance Team is back and dancing like they’ve never danced before! They began practice in late October and have been working hard at their routine ever since. Their practices are usually about 4 days a week, including every Saturday at 8:00am! How’s that for team dedication?! We also love the occasional 6:20am practices before school. This year’s routine is centered around the theme “Welcome to the Jungle!” They will be dancing to modern tunes from alternative band, Muse, and songs from the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack. Their uniforms will creatively express the mysterious creatures of the jungle. Later in the basketball season, you can look forward to catching a preview of their routine during half time at a couple of Warrior games, as well as Hawk games at Mount Rainier Lutheran High. Then, of course, they’ll need your loud and proud support in Portland for L.E.S.T. in February as they compete in the Dance/Drill Competition on Thursday, February 11th. |
