Pre-Kindergarten
Concordia Lutheran School is a caring community that: treasures every person’s uniqueness; emphasizes Christ-centered faith in action; provides a life-shaping experience; and creates relevant and exciting learning. Our Christ-centered early childhood program supports these core values by providing a strong start for our youngest students.
We are offering both morning and afternoon, 3 or 5 day, Pre-Kindergarten classes beginning in the fall. We follow a kindergarten readiness curriculum designed around fun thematic units.
Our philosophy is to provide these young students with a foundation that will encourage growth and development cognitively, socially, spiritually, physically and emotionally. Our program is unique in the opportunities available to us because we are the first steps in a Pre- K through 8th grade campus experience that is followed by a 9-12th grade program at Mount Rainier Lutheran High. These resources allow us to offer a music program, physical education (in a gym setting), library time, recess on an amazing play structure designed to encourage development of gross motor skills and fun and educational field trips. We value ‘early learning’ and believe it to be an important part of a child’s whole education.
