LEST 2010
L.E.S.T. stands for Lutheran Elementary School Tournament. This tournament is in Portland, Oregon on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday in February. This year it was February 11-13, 2010. Fifth through eighth grade students from Lutheran schools in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada are invited to Concordia University in Portland to participate in several areas of competition. The activities include: basketball, music, art, spelling, chess, math, drill team, cheerleading, drama, knowledge bowl, logo, essay writing, swimming and lots of fun and fellowship. Mrs. Bethke and Mrs. Gibelyou are the school coordinators and each "team" is coached by members of our staff.
