L.E.S.T. stands for Lutheran Elementary School Tournament. Fifth through eighth grade students from Lutheran schools in six states are invited to Concordia University in Portland to participate in competition: basketball, music, art, spelling, chess, math, drill team, cheerleading, drama, knowledge bowl, logo, essay writing, swimming and lots of fun and fellowship. Mrs. Bethke and Mrs. Gibelyou are the school coordinators and each "team" is coached by members of our staff.
